Need and Priority Community Need (Q1) Proposal addresses housing needs through a variety of services such as homeownership, financial counseling, and home repair. Provision of public services, preservation of existing affordable housing, and expansion of owner housing options are high priority needs in City Steps. Services Provided (Q3) Proposal requests operational funding for a variety of housing services. Project contributes towards achievement of goals in City Steps – specifically provision of public services, support of homebuyer activities, and rehabilitation of housing. II. Impact and Delivery Benefit to Low Income Person (Q8) Agency serves those below 80% AMI. <30%AMI: 42% 30-50%AMI: 35% 50-80%AMI: 24% >80%AMI: 0% Racial Equity and Inclusivity for Marginalized Populations (Q8, Q9, and Form B) Agency discusses initiatives such as the Women Build program and collaborations with other agencies to reach diverse populations. About 63% of FY23 clients listed as non-white. 40% with Hispanic, Latino, or Spanish origin. Outcome Measures (Prior Year Reports and Q12) Reported serving 127 residents in Iowa City in FY22. Commissioners may also consider cost effectiveness for the extent of services. III. Evidence of Financial Capacity Collaboration/Operations Plan (Q7 and Form C) Numerous collaborations with other agencies such as Johnson County Interfaith Coalition described in detail.
