Healthy Kids Clinic Additional Information
Dear City of Iowa City – Emerging Aid Grant Committee,
I am writing to provide additional information for areas left blank or need further explanation on the info
given on the Emerging Aid grant application.
• Resources & Feasibility - funds will be used for operating expenses. The breakdown of our operating
expenses is listed on our Healthy Kids Budget Report. (Attached to the application)
• Labor Breakdown was left blank as we are requesting funds for operating expenses.
• Income Breakdown of our target population
o The number of persons that was provided is an estimated guess. We do not inquire this
information from our families, but families are qualified for the free and reduced lunch
program. We trust the families’ words and our partnering agencies and school personnel who
refer the families to follow our eligibility guidelines.
o The number of households that was not provided. Our Epic Record system is not set up in a way
to collect household data and income.
