COMPLETE DESCRIPTION OF COUNCIL ACTIVITIES
MARCH 1, 2010
Iowa City City Council Special meeting, 6:45 p.m. Mayor Hayek presiding.
Council Members present: Bailey, Champion, Dickens, Hayek, Mims, Wilburn, Wright.
Absent: None. Staff members present: Helling, Dilkes, Fosse, Karr, Davidson, Morris,
Lewis, Hightshoe, Long, Moran.
Moved by Wilburn, seconded by Wright, to adjourn to executive session to
discuss strategy with counsel in matters that are presently in litigation or where litigation
is imminent where its disclosure would be likely to prejudice or disadvantage the
position of the governmental body in that litigation. Affirmative roll call vote unanimous,
7/0, all Council Members present. The Mayor declared the motion carried and
adjourned into executive session 6:46 p.m.
Council returned to open session 6:51 p.m.
Moved by Wright, seconded by Wilburn, to adjourn special meeting 6:52 p.m.
The Mayor declared the motion carried unanimously, 7/0, all Council Members present.
